River Rafting in Himalaya Regions
Bumping, Swirling and Rolling On India's Finest Waters
Tearing its way into the plains, the story of many Indian rivers begins from its source in the mighty Himalayas. Seasons change and so does the mood and Colour of these glacier-fed rivers. We offers whitewater river rafting in the foothills of the Himalayas.

River rafting in the Himalayas is like rolling in the finest stretches of whitewater running in the world. Experience the thrill of water sports adventure in the Himalayas.

River Rafting sites in the Himalayas
The rafting campsites lie on banks of India's most exciting rivers like Ganges, Bhagirathi, Indus, Teesta and the list goes on!!

Rafting in Garhwal Region
The sacred river Ganga, or the Holy Ganges, offers the professional as well as the amateur, the sheer exhilaration of white water rafting.

The Alaknanda and the Bhagirathi, are the main tributaries of the Ganga, and meet at Devprayag, frothing from their racy descent. Their waters are Grade IV and Grade V, challenging the expert to survive the thrill.

Down river from Devprayag, the Ganga changes into a pool drop river. This stretch of almost 70 kms, is perfect for the amateur and the novice, for here, the river offers some fine Grade III rapids, and two Grade II rapids, the 'wall' at Bysi and the 'Golf Course" 4 kms below Shivpuri village; each followed by deep and placid pools.

Rafting - Spiti
The wonderful adventure from Manali to Simla includes a 03 day run on the scenic Spiti river, surrounded by mountains and vehicular sight seeing trips and day hikes to historic monasteries and old villages.

Rafting - Brahamaputra
Rafting down the mighty Brahamaputra with its icy cold waters from just below its source of snow capped mountains, gushing down to the plains of Assam is not an easy task. Rafting over its massive waves would be the greatest feat of thrill, excitement and human endurance. Rafting down the Brahamaputra River holds the same challenge for the rafters as the Everest holds for the Mountaineers. With their pure blue and cascading white water rapids, Brahamaputra makes a cascading view and keeps on alluring with their attraction time and again. This river has got IV - V and VI grade rapids, which can be risky.

Rafting down the Brahamaputra is a 12 day expedition. The exhilaration of running through a rapid, the feeling of excitement and thrill, to ride over the high waves, the challenges of big holes with circulating currents, the feeling of being one with nature, the scenic beauty of the surroundings and thrills of camping out in the wilderness, are some of the combined factors which inspires one to take this adventure of river rafting in India.

Ladakh
A range of rafting options is available on the Indus and its major tributaries. The best stretch for professionally guided runs in white water is on the Indus between Spituk and Saspol. Beyond Saspol, the river becomes difficult and funning it requires technically skilled participants and careful organization.

Upward of Spituk, the Indus has the easiest stretch up to Karu, ideal for basic training and for day-return "scenic floating" for amateurs. In recent years, running the Indus has become an attractive alternative to trekking.
